The certificate is applied for in person or through a nominee\/relative at the Registrar of Marriages at Makombe Building in Harare, Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n<p>You may contact\u00a0the office of the Registrar General telephone numbers +263 242 702295\/9 or\u00a0+263 242 708383\/4.\u00a0The Office of the RG has advised the Embassy that the requirements if the person is not in Zimbabwe are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Letter of authorization from applicant bearing original signature,<\/li>\n<li>Copy of information passport page,<\/li>\n<li>Original birth certificate and copy,<\/li>\n<li>USD 30.00 processing fee,<\/li>\n<li>All documents must be certified by the Embassy, and<\/li>\n<li>Original statutory fee receipt from the Embassy (issued by the Embassy when the documents are\u00a0certified)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Certification of the above-cited documents can be done, in person, at the Embassy. The processing\u00a0fee is 200 Swedish Kronor in cash and exact amount.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>If an apostille\/certification stamp is required on the marriage certificate, you or a nominee\/relative must approach the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in Zimbabwe. The Embassy is unable to do that on the applicant\u2019s behalf. Please contact the Ministry for more information and to make an appointment on email address <a href=\"mailto:legalconsular@gmail.com\">legalconsular@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If confirmation is required from the Embassy that the apostille\/certification stamp is authentic, the applicant must visit the Embassy to obtain a confirmation letter stating that the apostille\/certification stamp was issued by the Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe. The applicant must bring the document with the original apostille\/ certification stamp, a Zimbabwean national ID card or Zimbabwean passport. The cost at the Embassy is 200 Swedish Kronor in cash and in exact amount<\/p>\n<p><u>Changing National Identity Card because of Marriage<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Changing National Identity Card because of Marriage is applied for in person in Zimbabwe.
