Authentication of documents (ie non-marriage certificate, marriage certificates, academic/professional certificates, police clearance etc) which issued by the Government of Zimbabwe by apostille/certification stamp are done by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in Zimbabwe. The Embassy is unable to do that on the applicant’s behalf. Please contact the Ministry to make an appointment on email address legalconsular@gmail.com
The applicant will need a contact person in Zimbabwe who can do the process for them if the applicant cannot travel to Zimbabwe.
Once the apostille/certification stamp has been issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in Zimbabwe, the applicant can visit the Embassy to obtain a confirmation letter stating that the apostille/certification stamp was issued by the Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe, if required.
The cost at the Embassy is 200 Swedish Kronor in cash and in exact amount.
